I am making a list of people who inspired me so much in many aspects of life & had a great influence on my life as well.
I will feel so lucky & extremely happy to meet them.
the list in no particular order is:
1. Rasmus Lerdorf: is a Danish-Greenlandic programmer and is most notable as the creator of the PHP programming language.
2. Douglas Crockford: is a senior JavaScript Architect at Yahoo! He is well known for his work in introducing JavaScript Object Notation (JSON). He has also worked on the computerization of media at Atari, Lucasfilm, and Paramount.
3. Brendan Eich: is a computer programmer and creator of the JavaScript programming language. He is the Chief Technology Officer at the Mozilla Corporation.
4. Dr. Ismail Serageldin is the director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. He also chairs the Boards of Directors for each of the BA’s affiliated research institutes and museums and was a Distinguished Professor at Wageningen University in the Netherlands. He is a member of the Senate in Egypt (Majlis Al-Shura).
5. President Muhammad Anwar Al Sadat, or Anwar El Sadat (25 December 1918 – 6 October 1981), was the third President of Egypt, serving from 15 October 1970 until his assassination on 6 October 1981. He was a senior member of the Free Officers group that overthrew the Muhammad Ali Dynasty in the Egyptian Revolution of 1952, and a close confidant of Gamal Abdel Nasser, whom he succeeded as President in 1970. In his eleven years as president he changed Egypt’s direction, departing from some of the economic and political principles of Nasserism by reinstituting the multi-party system and launching the Infitah. His leadership in the October War of 1973 and the regaining of Sinai made him an Egyptian hero. His visit to Israel and the eventual Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty won him the Peace Abbey Courage of Conscience award posthumously,[2] but was an act enormously unpopular with the Arab world and Islamists, and resulted in Egypt being expelled from the Arab League.
6. Tun Mahathir bin Mohamad: (born July 10, 1925) is a retired Malaysian political figure. He was the fourth Prime Minister of Malaysia. He held the post for 22 years from 1981 to 2003, making him Malaysia’s longest-serving Prime Minister, and one of the longest-serving leaders in Asia. During his term in office, he was credited for engineering Malaysia’s rapid modernisation. Mahathir is also known for his criticisms towards western and developed countries. During his administration, he was considered to be one of Asia’s most influential leaders. Mahathir is also noted in the Western world as an outspoken critic of Western-style globalization.
7. Sir Ken Robinson: (born Liverpool 4 March 1950) is the son of James and Ethel Robinson. He is an internationally recognized leader in the development of innovation and human resources. He has worked with national governments in Europe and Asia, with international agencies, Fortune 500 companies, national and state education systems, non-profit corporations and some of the world
